An adorable feline was discovered with poor vision, but later underwent an amazing makeover and revealed its true beauty.
Meet Mystic the Cat, a furry feline who was in dire need of help due to his severe case of mange. St. Francis Society Animal Rescue contacted Andrea Christian, a renowned fosterer, to seek assistance in nursing Mystic back to health. Upon arrival, the poor cat was covered in scabies, and his eyes were crusted shut. Despite having a full house, Andrea made space for him and began the journey towards his recovery. Mystic had thick mange on his feet, which made walking challenging. However, his spirit remained unbroken as he showed interest in food and affection. Unfortunately, his face was encased in a heavy mask, which hindered his eating ability. Mystic’s recovery journey was far from over, but he had a dedicated team to support him every step of the way.
Mystic was in a bad state, suffering from mange and appearing quite frail. Andrea, who goes by the name @turtlecatfoster, provided him with a cozy space to rest in, and began the arduous task of cleaning up his skin. With great care, she diligently combed through his fur and washed away the scabs and inflammation, freeing Mystic from the discomfort. It was then that his magnificent features became visible, as he opened his eyes, revealing the stunning soul that lay beneath.
Andrea, who goes by the username @turtlecatfoster, shared that she only noticed Mystic’s heterochromia after cleaning his face. Mystic, a white cat, has one blue eye and one yellow eye. Despite having no discomfort on his face, he was able to eat his food and take his medication without any problem.
When Andrea met Mystic, she noticed that he had heterochromia – his eyes were two different colors. Although he was initially shy, he quickly warmed up and allowed her to take care of him by giving him medicine, grooming him, and giving him a bath. After receiving a week of treatment and proper nutrition, Mystic’s physical health improved greatly. However, he still preferred to hide away until he received some love and affection.
Andrea, who goes by the username @turtlecatfoster, had been taking care of a cat named Fuzzy Biscuits who also had mange – the same condition as Mystic. One day, she decided to introduce the two cats since they were both in the process of healing and had already been spayed and neutered. To her delight, the two cats hit it off right away – Mystic snuggled up to Fuzzy Biscuits and she started grooming him lovingly.
As soon as Mystic and Fuzzy Biscuits met, they hit it off and became the best of friends. Andrea @turtlecatfoster noticed a positive change in Mystic’s demeanor when he found someone he could connect with. He opened up and showed his affection towards Fuzzy Biscuits. The two cats rubbed against each other, creating a symphony of purrs that filled the room.
Mystic has transformed into a beautiful feline with the happiest paws. You can see him kneading on anything soft and wiggling his toes in the air to express his happiness.
Andrea from @turtlecatfoster shared that her furry friend enjoys kneading on soft objects and has grown more comfortable in seeking head scratches from their human companions. The cat seems to have found a sense of security and contentment in their safe and loving home with their best friend. Mystic and Fuzzy Biscuits, who received proper care and attention, have also made remarkable recoveries, showing off their shiny and smooth coats. Mystic, in particular, has transformed into an affectionate cat who loves cuddles.
According to Andrea from @turtlecatfoster, despite having a painful past, the cat in her care is incredibly affectionate. He gets along well with all the other animals in the foster home and has never shown any signs of aggression towards other cats. When he’s near Andrea, he likes to snuggle up as close as possible and purr himself to sleep.
Andrea, known as @turtlecatfoster on social media, has announced that her furry friend Mystic is now ready to find a forever home with his best buddy Fuzzy Biscuits. Although Mystic may be timid with his new family initially, once he feels secure and loved, he will become more relaxed and affectionate towards his new human companions.
Andrea, who goes by the handle @turtlecatfoster, has expressed her love for a unique feline and has made a vow that he will find his perfect forever family, one that needs him just as much as he needs them. This special cat is sure to bring joy and love to whoever is lucky enough to have him in their lives.
